completely agree Chris ... i like alpinas, but i don't like them that much.

I'm going to sell everything I own on BaT for a 33% premium over market rates
Now... if only the “frumpy” center cap be removed and fitted with a smaller wheel center bore cap ala the classic Ferrari Dino Chromodora wheels. Easier said than done as the typical BMW center cap is much smaller and will not fit without some sort of modifications. And you can forget about the Dino caps as they are prohibitively pricey.

My car came to me with RS’. Had to have Alpinas. Got them. Then had to go back to RS’ so sold the Alpinas and bought RS’ which is where I stand now. If only the gold centers were the proper BBS gold. Sigh...I’ll remain on the RS’ and am looking for a set for my 02.
$5k is pretty solid money for a set of Alpinas which is also a testament to the sellers rep.
