1970 Coupe for sale in the I.E. Wish it was closer would go take a look. Owner also selling Triumph race car and a 1965 Tilux. I wanted to go check out Tilux but call went straight to VM. Will report back anything I find out. Car is an auto. But looks complete for $9K. Could be bogus ad but who knows until you check it out. Someone out in I.E. can maybe go look at it.

Heard back from owner this morning. Self proclaimed hoarder. Loves BMW's. Travels with Ferrari Challenge team around country I guess and no time to restore the car. He's in Wisconsin right now. Original Verona, needs complete resto, interior not great. Some rust in rockers he says and floor panels but not in shock towers. As we know much more hidden then. But starters aren't going for much cheaper in this condition when whole. Has sat for about 3 years.... he knows it needs a new home at this point.

I was more interested in Tilux, he is sending some pics I will post in "Other" if anyone interested. Want's $4,800 for Tilux which is high end from verbal description, I am not interested myself so have at it. He said he's had about 25 calls from people all over the world, (Europe/Russia) and I'm sure Gooogout was right behind me on this one. It's an auto keep that in mind. The original Verona is nice that is original but obviously needs paint unless want to focus on other areas first, still has sticker he says. If someone here is dead serious, willing to put down deposit sight unseen I'd be willing to text him your info since I already talked to him but please only PM me if you are ready to move on it immediately. Thanks! GB

Actually Gogoout already had his hands on this one, and you listed the ad last time. (Admit it - it's your BMW collection!!! :D). Gogoout bought the Wisconsin car on Ebay for $3,500, then sold it in CA. I'm not sure if the current sale is from the hoarder/collector that had it last listed, or if he sold it to someone. Given the Tilux and other cars for sale, this looks like a relisting.

Ha ha, yeah it could be. I couldn't view the old ad anymore. The Wisconsin parallel is just a coincidence I think since he is only there for the Ferrari Challenge (Or so he says). I don't know, not sure if same car. If Googout got to it, he would be selling in the $15K+ range I think. I wish I had the money and space to hoard. I tried putting my 2002 and 535i in my garage at one point, they fit but I had to climb out of sunroof of 02' to get out when parked. And then no room to work on car without playing musical cars every day. So, I have since stuck with the one car at a time philosophy and have room to work. The Bav is keeping me very occupied. I found a great solution that I will post to keeping vintage radio and antennae but having modern Bluetooth amenities. I love it, not quite there yet but will show what I did soon. Maybe even later today if I can get rest of it done.

It's definitely the same car. As mentioned Gogoout already flipped it, so he's out of the picture. You are right though, I don't think we've seen a situation where someone is making profit on TOP of a Gogoout markup.

See the front hood rust, front fender scratch and paint mismatch, broken fender grill, funky black mirror, and the banner, which you can barely make out in your attachment:
