I bought a complete, nice running 72 CSi with working AC for the exact same amount a few years back in California.... you may be right, but ask and get are two very different things, especially in NY.
 
Very little rust is key to this purchase! Note: checked manual but AT console in trunk?
 
Someone go poke it with a stick. ...can't tell, but could have a very interesting 3 spoke rudder......
