Gradually, over many many months my clock stopped working. I do not believe it is the fuse or some other "go/nogo part. At first I could spin the hands a couple of times and it would run for a month or more. Gradually its running time decreased until it stopped for good.

Seems like the perfect clock for someone with the skills and talent I don't possess, to own a working clock for a fraction of the cost of a working or newly reconditioned clock.

Hollywood Speedo quoted me $295. to $395. to fix my clock. Seems a little high but I think I heard him correctly.

$75.00 including shipping to the lower 48.

Send me your email, I will send photos Steve @ [email protected]

Based on the details inside that thing it doesn't take long to run up 3 or 4 hours for a shop to clean. It doesn't make sense to pay someone to fix until you add the cool factor.

Agree. So my clock is best suited for someone with the skill and talent I lack to do it themselves.
