oh my, an original Butler Flexilight! I have one mounted in my Healey.

I'd be all over one of these if I didn't have to drill my dash, of course correct for the early (?) CSL's
I fabricated a bespoke bracket that can be removed on a whim! And they do appear from time to time.
plus there is an alternative location for these lamps,
early carbed csls put these lights inside the glovebox, this way you only have to drill the bottom wall of the mentioned glovebox, and your dash will be safely intact and still you will have the very pleasing eyecandy item in your coupe

@deQuincey do you have a larger version of that glove box pic? I just acquired a NOS Butler map light new in the box and want to install there. Thanks.
Steve, are you sure you would use as it requires glove box to be open?
Not sure I'll ever really use it! bought it for the period cool factor. But would have to work out something there regarding the door/light, maybe mount it elsewhere. Definitely not drilling my dash.
Mounting on dash, hardest part would be running the wires
