Mark, I did not need them on the back, instead, I just cleaned the tracks really well, relubed them and added up and down relays. They are faster than the E28/relayed motor for the front now.

A few modifications required to the door sheet metal, there's a good guide out there for the sardine can/ pre 73 model cars
