I just came across an ad on Craigslist someone selling 2 original E9 wheels.
Anyone interested in a photo go to RI. craigslist auto parts.Use the key word "BMW".
I spoke to the seller and he said one wheel has a bend in it and would only be good for a spare. He wants $130 for both. His phone number is 401-212-1335. Ask for Frank.

I purchased a set of 5 a couple of months ago for $125. For some reason they don't seem to have much value which is very surprising. $200 is the most I have seen a used set sell for.

its amazing how attitudes change - i remember 15 or so years ago, i thought the original wheels looked great on coupes. i guess now i prefer larger diameter wheels and better tires ... just remember, whenever the time comes for the value of original coupes to soar (if that ever happens), these wheels will be worth something ... when all of the coupes have alpina 16's

exactly, that is why i will keep my original wheels in a box in the basement
