FS: Front (passenger) bumper end

Pre-1973 (68-72) NOS front bumper end (right-passenger side) part #: 51111811192. Excellent condition with a few minor storage scratches...will polish out with chrome cleaner/polish. I'll do this prior to shipping.

Bought it years ago and has never been mounted. The 72 and earlier mounting bracket is slightly more recessed than the 73 year only version, although the bumper ends are exactly the same.

$200 plus shipping. Fedex ground should be $20-$25 for the lower 48 states. Paypal only please! PM me if interested.

To re-chrome one end bumper piece from a quality shop should probably run about $250 and check out the price for a new unit from BMW. Sorry, this is the only bumper section I have.

Bumper piece could use a good polishing.

What appears as rust on the top lip of bumper is not so, for some strange reason, it is the byproduct of the camera flash. There is not one speck of rust on unit.

I've never seen the paint protection on the rear or inside. Is it grey or tan in person? I imagine the lighting can throw off the hue a bit.

It's almost like a lite beige. Invariably, most CS bumpers tend to rust in the back even with the paint.

I'd call it a creamy grey, or tan with a little grey . Almost a military color...That looks correct, and very nice.

MB did the same thing and I have used DB158 White Grey as a close match.

Is that SEM or another brand of paint
Is that a rust cap or rust neutralizing paint?

It doesn't come in cans, would have to be mixed by a paint shop. My 1960 190b is White Grey.
