i have a good 265 for sale, including the speedo drive and your choice of early or Motronic bell housing. No excessive input shaft play.
These are getting really scarce, so don't wait to do that swap...
Located in Orange County, CA. Local pick up is greatly encouraged, but shipping can be worked out.
$800 or best nearest offer, not including shipping.
 
So it seems that I didn't do my homework. After checking multiple sources including eBay, I seriously cheated myself by only asking $800 for a known good 265. I think it's good plus shipping boxes on eBay that actually sell are $1100 and up. Ones on other sites like mye28 have sold for even more.
So, yes I have another good box, but $800 ain't gonna happen again.
Actually I have two. One with and one without speedo drive.
So for either of the 265/6's I'll offer them for the lowest sold eBay box at $1100, including choice of bell housing, and a good flywheel that will just need a $40 resurface if that helps.
I also have a close ratio, and if you have to ask, you can't afford it. (Sorry, that was mean)
 
I anticipated this rethinking of the value. I too have a close ratio in my coupe. Just wanted a spare. Better luck next time
