They were either chrome plated and detail was lost or maybe 2000C used this cover?
Correct!
The NK has a number of
chrome parts that are polished aluminum on the e9. The interior window/headliner trim is also chrome, as is the little c-shaped connector piece.
I think BMW figured out that polished aluminum achieved the same effect for less money. Then of course they ultimately went to black plastic, then “chromed plastic”.
Was the clue in his title all along or did you edit it Markos?
Oh no I edited it based on the info that surfaced. I don't normally edit the FS titles, but I'm currently editing almost every title during March Madness. That's why they all looks so consistent.
