Believe this is the faceplate for the E3 sedans. Looks very similiar to the coupe version though.

Indeed, I have already warned the seller this is an E3 plate- with no doubt- but does not seem to take my advice in consideration.
All the more important as they are completely different and do not fit on an E9 console.

I fitted my E9 with the AC from an E3 parts car, and used the E3 AC faceplate, cutting off the lower part so it fitted snug on the transmission tunnel.

So, if you can't get your hands on an E9 faceplate, this is next best.
