Lucas, with regards to the previous discussions on Scheel 400 seats: is there any plate indicating the seat type, Scheel company name, ABE number on your set of seats?

I’ll double-check tomorrow, but as far as I recall, they don’t have identification plates; however, I am certain they are genuine Scheel products from before the company changed its name following an acquisition or merger.
I’ve handled quite a few of these original Scheel 300/400/500 seats, and I tended to see identification plates more often on the ones made after the company name had changed.
I’ll let you know tomorrow.

I absolutely agree - there are plates on most of the seats I have seen that carry the old scheel buttons. I have several 302 and 302N myself - no plates on these but definitely genuine from that era. So I would never question that your seats are originals; sorry if it made the impression!

Please don't worry about it; I know you didn't have any bad intentions.
I haven't come across identification plates on original vintage Scheel seats. I think Mr. Gerrit could provide more information, as he is extremely knowledgeable about sports car seats from the 1970s—particularly the Scheel brand.

J'ai les mêmes dans mon coupé. après habillage en bleu par un sellier j'ai conservé les velours et skai d'origine démontés. Pas d'identification .
I have the same ones in my coupe. After reupholstered in blue , I kept the original velvet and Skai, which I had removed. No identification.
