A friend of mine in OC - CA has a Beautiful pair of Scheel Mann manual sport seats. These have been refurbished by Tony Garcia of Autobahn Interiors located in San Diego. They have new foam, bottom webbing suspension rebuilt. They would look great in a e3 or e9 Coupe. $1750

Looking at hinges - these are very late Scheel-Mann seats (probably late 80's, early 90's), so they will be way too big for e9, unlike early Scheel's 100, 200, 400, 500 from 70's.

There are plenty of e9 owners running early / late 400’s in their car or similar Konigs. They fit fine. May want to use mounting plates from Aardvark or wherever instead of full frame. Appropriateness for the e9 is subjective.

i love them in the e9. they are also the most comfortable vintage car seat to me. while i didn't redo my back seats to look like the scheels, they do look like CSL rear seats. when i get around to redoing the fronts, and they do NOT need to be redone, i will make the front seams look more like CSL.

I have Scheel-Mann 400 or 500 in my 2002. I bought them in 1984. Will these fit into my CS ? Here are pics of them in my 2002.

Will they "fit"?...proportionally, they are a better visual fit for the CS, to my eye....Will the runners match up exactly; i.e., are the bolt holes the same center to center, side to side and front to back on each car?....I measured a pair of 400's and a pair of c.72 2002 seats, and they are really close...but I don't know what provisions/adaptations were made for your scheels for your 02...you'll probably have to pull and measure one of each..There are adapter plates available out there, if needed.....I think maybe Aardwark or one of the usual west coast guys has them...I'm sure that there are folks out there more knowledgeable than me...
