Not exactly sure which part you're referring to, but try realoem.com for a part #.
The part number is 54129734130. I mean the rubber into which the sunroof cover is inserted (marked in yellow in the photo)
I think that part # refers to one of the two gray felt sunroof seals that attach to the roof and the sliding sunroof. The two deflectors I posted each have the rubber seal you're looking for...
1) You should create a WTB=want to buy post as putting it here dilutes the seller's stuff but also gets you more exposure.
2) Look at Steele products website. The part you seek has a profile that I think is routine based on the one I have on my E24 and e3.

Thank you Len for your advice. I'm definitely still a few years away from installing the sunroof deflector (I'm in the process of collecting parts for my E9 CSi, which isn't even in the body work stage as of now) so it's not out of the question that I'll take your advice
