Good day to all:

You can never have too many spares, as they say, but I have one too many manual steering boxes. Perfect for your BMW E3 or E9. Identification plate reads as follows:

Zahnradfabrik Friedrichshafen AG
Werk Schwäb. Gmünd
ZF GEMMER LENKUNG

7 3 2 0 9 5 5 1 0 8

Fabr. Nr. 1 0 5 3 5 2 4 7 2

ZF case BMW Part number is 32.11 1101 908.9.

The steering box has 4 1/3 rotations of the spindle when the steering guide arm is actuated fully.

Also includes the stock lower steering column shaft which measures 21.375” or 54.29cm which is specific to the LHD manual box.

According to BMW, grooves were cut into the bottom of the serration section of the lower steering column shaft so as to avoid confusion:

No groove = ZF Gemmer steering (left-hand steering)
One groove = ZF hydraulic power steering (left-hand)
Two grooves = ZF Gemmer steering (right-hand)
Three grooves = ZF hydraulic power steering (right-hand)

Didn't know if I should post this on this site or via eBay but would rather it go to an enthusiast. Pls. follow link below and email with any questions.
