Fuel Hose Clamps

Does anyone know what sort of clamps were originally used on the fuel hoses? I have a distant memory of constant tension clamps rather that screw clamps being used between the fuel pump and carbs when the car was new, but I'm not sure. Thanks.

If you buy hose clamps to use with fuel injection hose, this is what you get. The original clamps are the same but with a round cheesehead slotted screw instead of these hexagon ones
