Hi and happy new year, here's hoping 2020 is good to us all

Looking to refurb the (d-jet) engine bay fuel system over the winter. To remove the injectors and the fuel rails, am I best to remove the throttle body, leaving the inlet manifold and runners in place, or would it be better to remove the manifold and throttle body together, and just leave the runners in place?

Also, looking for a UK recommendation for injector cleaning, flow testing etc

Cheers
:)

Its basically follow your nose but the best way I found was
1.Remove the air filter assembly
2. Remove the 6 half round inlet pipes. (4 nuts each one) There are two thicker washers on the lower middle one which supports the aux air valve
3. remove all air rubber pipes.
4.Remove the looms and control rod to the throttle body
5.Remove the plenum with throttle body
6.remove looms to injectors.
Then you have the fuel rails open to inspection removal.

yes, I was trying to cut corners and only remove the bare minimum of the intake. But it does need the whole of the intake (except the manifold itself) off to get enough access. Injectors out, pipework out. Looking quite crusty!!

Will start a thread in the projects forum, looking for advice to restore the parts before reassembly

thanks all
