The sending unit on my 1976 3.0 Si has cracked causing fuel to leak into the trunk and fumes to come into the passenger cabin.
Will a sending unit from an earlier model E3 or an early E12 work?
If anybody has a spare that they're willing to sell please PM me.

Thanks in advance

Get the part number, go to RealOEM or Penskeparts, without selecting a vehicle (!) paste it into the search Part Number field and bingo, your answer.

I believe there are two lengths to these so indeed you gotta match the number. There was also a big difference in price between the two back when I needed one, though neither is cheap. Can you repair the one you have?

J.B. - I've got a spare since I did the megasquirt conversion and cannot use the stock unit. Let me know what length you need and I will check if it is the same one.
