Any guesses where it ends? Tempted, but so many other things to manage first.

I don't post on BaT but someone should tell them the E9 clamshell is not interchangeable with the E3 Bavaria. At least that is my understanding.

I checked RealOEM for a 3.0 Bavaria and a 3.0CS and the PN is the same (71111102916). I didn't check all years E3 and E9 however.

As an aside, the tool kit pictured matches the one in my car (Euro 3.0CSi, build date 9/73). It is not the same as P/N 71 11 1 102 916 on RealOEM, as I learned when ordering a replacement for the foam sound deadener. The foam piece, screwdriver, and water pump fliers for the kit in RealOEM are still available from BMW; only the screwdriver fits my tool kit.
