Just received a new shifter rod for my conversion and noticed one end is significantly wider than the other, much wider than the shifter.
I couldn't find anything in our support files addressing this so I thought I'd drop a question to document it for others.
Is it possible this is a flawed part?
That selector rod is for the later M30s with a wider transmission knuckle. You'd have to use washers to space it out or get the proper one. If you'd like to upgrade to a DSSR with bronze bushings on both ends, please check out our linkage systems at:

The short end goes to shifter, the longer to new style "wide" coupler on the gearbox, which takes longer to wear out before you need linkage kit anyway.
