Found a company that I’ve been talking to and are developing LSD units for sideloaders. They have already done e21/02 and are nearly finished with e30/e28/late e24 medium case units. This post is to gauge the interest in these. Please

“Some information below on the E9 LSD.
The design isn't fully finished at the moment so CAD pictures are not available quite yet. I have however attached some images of the 188 unit as it will be very similar to that and and the plate internals will be the same.
We expect there to be no modification required to the casings for fitment.
Settings
Ramp angles available:
40/40 – 40/60 -20/80 - 50/50 – 45/50 – 20/80 - 60/15
Preload Settings –120nm – 60nm – 0nm
Cost
LSD Unit Alone - Approximately £1100
Built into Customers casing - Approximately £1650 (including parts) - This includes fully rebuilding diff unit with new pinion bearings and oil seals.
Complete unit outright - Approx £2300 - Due to the struggle of finding good quality core units we prefer to use the customers but can do outright units if required.
We also like to keep the original diff with the car where possible.
We want to provide a service across Europe where we can get the customers differential collected and returned as part of the cost so it is a easy as possible for the customer and they get a diff unit back that is ready to add oil and bolt into the car.
For UK based customers we can also fit in the car at our workshop.”
