Gearbox Input Shaft Seal Needed + advice

Hi all.

I’m after some advice. My mechanic is currently looking for a gearbox input shaft seal for my Getrag 4 Speed on my E9.

It’s 42 mm and sits on a 30 mm shaft.

Jaymic here in the UK are shut now.

Does anyone know where I can get one relatively quickly? I can’t find the part on Walloth but maybe I’m searching for the wrong thing.

There is someone on eBay selling some for 1970s Opel models? was the getrag in our E9s used in many other cars?

Any help/advice gratefully received.

Thanks Bert.

The problem is that London is now in lockdown and not every shop is still open (if fact most should be shut).

We anticipated this and ordered one from Jaymic last week but unfortunately the wrong one was sent. Now they’ve closed for a stock take.

Fingers crossed that we can get one from one of the suggested places pretty quickly.
