Can anyone recommend a gearbox engineering shop in the UK to rebuild my newly acquired Box?

So far I have had £800 plus Vat at 20% with any parts required on top of that. I feel that this might be a little high.
Guy - these chaps rebuilt my diff. Would recommend

i see them advertising rebuild diff's for BMW .. not gear boxes ? Gear boxes they do are more the UK car models ?
