I recently placed an order for a few parts for my 74 CSi from GetBMwparts,

I just received the following email

**Update** Thank you again for your order. Unfortunately, part # 61131352793 (euro cap) is European parts and are only available in the European market. We cannot order them since we are a USA dealership and only sell US parts. Those parts will be removed from the order. Please let us know how you would like to proceed with the remainder of this order. – getBMWparts.com

Does anybody know what's going on

"My understanding about euro parts from the dealer is, they should be available here except for any DOT items. Depends on your parts guy from what I have concluded. Most of them are too lazy to figure it out."

Ask another dealer.
