Known good unit - Shifts fine, no noise.

is this a "dog" leg ? first left /rear ?

Getrag didn't make a 265 CR in a standard shift pattern. So if you see a 265 being advertised a a CR, then it should be a dogleg. You can also tell by looking at the case and this looks like a dogleg case. You use a G280 which is a CR with a standard shift pattern.

How do you adapt this to the 3.0? Interested in finding the cost.

No adapter required. The G265 bolts directly to the M30. You need a new crossmember. Coupe King sells a nice one. That is as far as I can go without speaking out of turn. There are numerous write ups on the subject. The most well known being from Carl Nelson, and should be found in the tech articles section of this site.

and you'll need to shorten your drive shaft and adjust the center bearing to eliminate any wobble/alignment issue. No biggie.
