getrag 265 & LSD

I have found a 1981 633CSI 5spd locally.
This will have the required getrag 265.
I was wondering if this car would also have an LSD. I would think it would have one.
Secondly, would it be a direct fit in the coupe or would it work at all?

Someone else is going to have to chime in for certainty, but IIRC the 6er diff will not fit the E9 subframe without considerable work (read: won't and don't).

The E24 diff is the same as E3/E9/E12 up to early 82. All Euro 635CSi had LSD, don't know about the US specs though.

Is t the main issue the ratio ?

Many of these early e24 different were 3.07's which is v tall to pair w a 5spd OD

I have a E23 5sp that is a 3.07 lsd and 15" tires. It all fit in my 1970 cs with no issues.
And I don't consider it to be too tall of a gearing. Pulls just fine.
3.0 engine.

The 3.07 diff was meant for the CR 5 speed I believe.
I just bought Patrick's 3.07 LSD which I am converting
To a 3.25 for a turbo coupe.

The 3.07 diff was paired with the dog-leg 1:1 box in the E12 535i and E24 635CSi. In the E23 735i it came with the OD box (0.81:1 in 5th)
