I am looking for some advice please.
My car came with a getrag 262 from the factory and awhile ago I bought a getrag 265 5 speed for it .
I don’t have a shift platform or shift lever or linkage for the 265.
So I am wondering is it possible to modify the 262 setup and make it fit the 265 gearbox.
Has anyone cut up and welded/ modified the 262 parts so that they can work successfully with the 265 in the e9 ?
Or is there a readily available work around solution using other Bmw parts that could be recommended ??
