Been watching it, wish it wasn't in the Netherlands. Surprised by the lack of activity, should end at close to 3X the current bid. Will need an engine rebuild, but still...
Nice looking car, for that price it may be worth shipping to the US. Don't know what it would take to register it.
Bid to $9500... twice that would have been more than enough. A tatty example sold at last year's Sotheby Euro auction for less than that; this one needs an engine rebuild
and had some rust repair, but is much better overall. Perfect examples sell for mid-$30s, BMW versions are more scarce and a bit more $$. But yeah, shipping costs can make
an appealing buy more expensive than it's worth, unfortunately.

What a strange car. It' about 3 feet too short i think. With that great front and rear styling, giving it a decent side view would being it close to some of the classy italian brands.
lovely styling. I always felt that from this angle 1600 GTs reminded me of early 911s. Wish BMW had decided to keep them in production a few years longer.
