thats ugly im going to make one
maybe from an antenna top trim mount

so i used an extra switch trim and ground it down to fit
also i ground down an antenna mount that could also work
whats your opinion on the one to use
its in there temporarily till i decide then ill line it up
perfect.

I'd rather (but this is just me) see a concave trim ring in there so you don't lose travel when you thumb the release button. Chrome or black, no difference to me. Should look better than previous, either way.

yep it releases with the most minor pressing
so it really doesnt interfere with the function of the switch
as it is adjustable
could always find a funnel and cut to fit
have it chromed

it seems the right bracket is rather critical to align the bow with the dash
would someone be able to post the dimensions of the bracket mostly
the height from the top to the hole opening
