I’m at a paint store in GA, tats a ppg dist, and they can’t mix any solvent colors for most of their overseas cars. Does anyone have a screen shot of Granada 023 mix ratios in solvent that they could share?

Sorry, I posted this while at the paint store...it was odd...must be a PPG thing? They couldn't get a bunch of colors in a solvent mix..I've never heard of that. My normal paint place just closed and I'm looking for new sources.. Has anyone run into this? Super nice lady running the store...wish we could figure it out.

Yeah, I'm definitely looking at Granada...my previous paint store quoted me almost $1500 for Spies Hecker for single stage, with reducer, etc...sticker shock...
I wonder if a more average paint like Nason would still look as good? I used RM Uno years ago and thought it was pretty nice..I may just have to cough up the big bucks...maybe sell myself on the street...should cover about $1.50...
huge change from the mid-blues you were previously thinking of. so PPG is going away from solvent paints? my ceylon metallic is PPG water base paint with a clear coat (solvent base)
Eastwood.com lists all the stock BMW colors now. They have a single stage urethane Granada for $508. Of course you'll need to add reducer to that cost.

I got some paint from my local auto paint store and the color match was well, ok. Fine for engine but not perfect. I ended up redoing it with paint from AutomotiveTouchup (online store) using the BMW Polaris Silver and the color match was perfect, the clearcoat was much nicer, etc. Even their rattle can color was spot on. May be worth just ordering a can to see about its color match for you.
Yeah, I kept looking at, and spraying, different blues and liked a lot of them, but didn't love any... My brother commented how a lot of newer cars are going back to the classic blues and realized, after a quick drive to fla and back, that he's right. Sooooo many new, bland, shapeless cars have the blue colors that I was looking at. It basically killed it for me. Maybe I'm weird, but I was always barely into whichever color I was looking at.
I love the look of the deep red on the Bav...could be what I'm looking for.
