I'm not sure if the rest of you know about this place, but my brother just introduced me to Marshall's Hardware in San Diego CA.

I replaced my CV joint allen head bolts for US$0.86/ea instead of the US$1.40/ea at Belmetric. They have a really good selection of parts and tools.

If you live in LA, you can find a hardware supplier closer to home at Hillco Fastener in Westminster. Hillco offers a wide variety of metric hardware and is friendly to do-it-yourself automotive people. See http://www.hillcofasteners.com/ Unlike Marshalls, I don't think you can order from their website; you need to go to the store and root around in their bins.

Two thumbs up for Belmetric. His site tells you what finish is on the fasteners, usually yellow zinc, and so far almost everything I've ordered has been marked either "made in Germany" or "made in USA.

Standard shipping is cheap and very fast, even to the Pacific Northwest.
