Recently purchased this '71 2800 CS... Was repainted in what I assume is Verona Red and has 3.0CS badge on the trunk. 2800 CS plate under the hood, 2800 CS VIN, it's a 2800. Purchased from a son who inherited it from Father (orig owner) 84k orig miles --but who knows for sure Title indicates that 84k is the number. Front discs, rear drum. Nicely Redone tan interior. Body straight and really nice paint. She idles a little rough though but strong-- Possible Carb adjust, fuel filter, and re-time and I think we're in business. Gorgeous. She's been in storage for 8 years-- So excited to get this on the road. While it won't be my DD-- she will be driven.

Congratulations, the third picture looks like Verona. The other two look cold.
After 8 years in storage you need to do an improvement a week and catch up with time lost. Here are some ideas:

- Hella or Cibie euro headlights, look and illuminate much better.
- Windshield wiper has wing only on driver side.
- Rear disc brakes if you are going to sport the 3.0CS badge
- Sway bars for extra credit
- Bilsteins if not done already

Have fun.

Arde's list above will grow exponentially no matter how original your coupe is. After three decades of ownership of two coupes I have finally realized it is NEVER finished.

Love the color. Steve
