Grey/Red 74 on BaT

Rob- good eye you have.

seller sees no significant rust but we see something that troubles us.

this car needs a PPI

Oddly a PPI was done at the dealership but is not being shared.

The seller said those areas are there but just said “you can kinda see it in one of the photos.” Of course he’s been asked for more photos of that area and, uhhh…tick…tock. I wouldn’t feel so good if I was holding that $50k bid.

yes but the new owner will have a rude awakening when he really learns what he bought. just as what was said during the Malaga thread ... the quality of the former owner is just as important as the quality of the car. this coupe has too much of a 'pig in a wig' look for my taste

Didn't see this thread before, but those front floor-sill corners look rusted through. I bet you can poke a stick from under the car, right into the floor and at a 45 degree angle tickle the car inside its sill. I think it is not that difficult to find better cars this side of the pond, perhaps even by 15 or 20 K USD.
Besides that the corners are rusted through, you can also see that the car has been lifted on those points: the edges of that thin walled 3*3 inch plate is squashed flat.

Anyway, seller paid what he paid. If you always wanted a car, you can buy and drive this and enjoy it for years. Just don't look under it's skirt. You'll smile just the same when driving it; I know I would.
