Grill repair of broken posts and paint

Could you point me out a method to repair the odd broken posts of the hood and fender grills and a recommended spray paint to freshen the original silver gray ? Thanks

I remember seeing a post on this a long time ago, which involved drilling a very fine hole in the broken piece, glueing a piece of wire in and then building up a new ‘tine’ with JB Weld , sanding and finishing... seemed like an awful lot of work for nearly 50 year old plastic, I just bit the bullet and bought new ones.

As far as I know they only came in black or chrome, never seen gray

I can tell you that there is no spray paint out there to match the silver chrome. I did a search, saw a video comparing multiple paints, bought highest rated and it was crap.

I believe you can have the grill polished and will come out like new. Also if you send me you shipping address I will send you what I used to replace studs.
