I got a much anticipated package in the mail yesterday. My ground control suspension came in and it looks beautiful. Putting this setup in my coupe that has bilsteins and 16" Alpinas, but otherwise stock setup. Not planning on slamming my coupe to the ground, but want something slightly lower than CN Springs. Once installed I'll post an 'after' photo and let you know how it performs. I have a different coupe with CN Springs, ST sway bars, blisteins, and 16" Alpinas to directly compare the handling to, so this should be interesting. Photo is of the coupe that the suspension is going on; hoping to get rid of that lifted 4x4 look.

Hey, looking at the exact setup.

What are the specs? Spring pressure?

What inserts?

Anxious to see it installed.

Where'd you get it all and how much may I ask?

Very nice! Interested to see how they look and hear how it performs. Those spring perches DO look adjustable...you should be able to make it look how ever you wish.

Sorry for the late reply guys. The specs are as follows: Front springs 8" long, 2 1/2" diameter, 380lbs/inch; Rear springs 8" long, 5" diameter, 400lbs/inch; camber/caster plates; Koni top adjustable shocks and strut insert. I provided the struts, GC did the labor. Cost came to just under $1800 with some nice discounts for buying the package ($189) and for miltary.

So, just had them installed today. Installation was straightforward according to the mechanic. Initial impressions are very good. The stance (at its highest position) is very similar to the CN spring set up (I'll eventually take a pic with both side by side and post). Ride is comparable to coupes set up with 16" wheels, CN Springs, ST sway bar, and bilsteins. Firmer than stock for sure, but corners very flat and feels very connected. With the stock setup I could feel the car leaning in all but the slowest turn; that sensation is gone.

My rear shock towers are not reinforced; eventually I will put a battery tray/tower reinforcement kit back there, but for now I will not do anything but drive it moderately and look out for potholes.

Enjoy the shots of the new set up. Sorry for the sideways shots. If someone can tell me what I'm doing wrong I'll fix it. Car is on the rack getting aligned; will take better pictures later.

I suspect your computer's software isn't honoring the rotation information embeded in your photos by your phone. If you are using a conventional camera, it may not include any rotation info. Or, your computer does honor the rotational info and shows you the photo right side up, but the web software doesn't, so they are rotated.

I'd make a small change to the image, like cropping it a bit and then saving to see if that will set the rotation the correct way up.

I've lightened the shadows a bit using Photoshop to make it easier to see the tires and the space above them. Easy to do, if you have PS. Other programs have a similar function labeled shadows/highlights or somthing similar. I use this command a lot as most images are a bit too dark when there are bright areas in the photo.
