guys, i installed my light ... but the ground doesn't touch anything. i tapped it on the console and it lit up.
any clue what it is supposed to touch?

There is an exposed tab on the light housing that contacts the column.
you can see the tab on the white base just to the left of the bulb:
yep, i have the tab but it doesn't touch the column. that's what i figured it was supposed to do. but there must be 1/8" of air. guess i'll figure something else out
Bend it outwards, it also needs to be oriented in right direction I think.
its straight out. i've tried rotating it each way. i guess i'll have to put a ground wire on it.
