Sorry I have posted this in the wrong location! Guibo frustration!
I realise I have posted this in the wrong location but can't work out how to repost to the correct section so my apologies.
Good morning all. I completed the 5 speed conversion on my E9 a while ago and the guibo was on its way out so I decided recently to replace it. I ordered the M5 guibo as suggested (part # 314 261 11010). It was thicker than the old one however it fitted really well depth wise. What's the issue you might ask?
Well the holes are further apart so when I installed the bolts it was a very tight squeeze. In fact I had to 'flex' the disk to get the bolts in. Once installed the guibo was very 'flexed'.
1. Is this normal?
2. Do I have the correct Guibo
I have attached photos of guibo's. Any advice would be appreciated.
