73 E9 is running newer Bilstein Sports with original springs cut a coil and a coil and a quarter, stock bars, 14" wheels and 70 series tires with 27#s of air - ride height is fine - and the car is banging so badly over rough road surfaces that it sounds like it's coming apart.
I doubt I'll change the shocks but I'd like some different springs. I solved this same problem on a hotrod 67 1600 by buying H&R Sport progressives, but there don't seem to be any out there for the E9.
Any pro tips for me?

I run -40mm BMW e12 H&R springs on my coupe in the front, but some unknown brand in the rear.
If I were to buy new springs right now, I think I would buy this set which is exactly what you're looking for (H&R progressive)

Hi Chris. Dunno. Here's what he's got on the site. I thought the proper H&R Sport springs had a TUV. He's not being clear on whether these are "Sport" as we know it or a private run "made by."
