Great thoughts

Yes, my dad got me into this silliness. Sadly, he passed years ago but left me with enough drive to pursue cars both personally and professionally. I work for Hyundai now in product development and those engineers can do some amazing things. But these oldtimers have no comparison.

I love my '73 and enjoy every moment spent towards bringing her back to her former glory, and then some. It's especially neat when an owner of a new BMW XYZ series sees this car and only knows that it is a BMW, but they don't always know that this is the first great coupe.

Hopefully, my son or oldest daughter will want this car some day when I'm too old to shift out of neutral.

For now, time to get her ready for the Monterey car weekend in August.
