I am sure most coupes east of the Mississippi are safely sequestered against the foul weather.
I wish all my friends a Happy and Safe Thanksgiving, being thankful for the friendship and cameraderie over the last years!

All the best!

I hope you all get some Turkey. We had our last Thanksgiving Sandwich a month ago.

Same to you all. Great Forum community and coupe ownership wouldn't be as manageable or fun. Weather here is shaping up for some holiday driving.

happy thanksgiving to all of the forum. we break tradition here ... we eat duck for thanksgiving. perhaps something to do with my south louisiana upbringing. but we do have sweet potatoes + pumpkin pie.

but most important, we do drink great wine with it. cheers to all.

Hi Everyone:
Seems that groups like this forum are closer than some family members.

mmmmmm I have heard of your cooking expertise!!!

Stan,

this will be good, we will start with brie + fresh pear, with a little champagne ... then the duck is simply pan roasted - but nothing else about it will be traditional. the sweet potatoes will be baked, then mashed with a little butter, lime juice + cilantro, there will also be a vegetable medley. the pumpkin pie is made with fresh roasted pumpkin (not the can stuff), finished with cream whipped with amaretto. along side will be a 2002 clos du tart and a 1992 montelena cabernet which should both be up to the task.

Scott,

Shawn is jealous, time to plan another trip out west. We bought some great wine in Los Olivos yesterday that would compliment whatever you would like to prepare! Cheers,

Chris
