Hazard switch Related
i recently replaced the dash on my 72 CS and removed the wires from the hazard switch. I was smart enough to take a photo of the wire configuration, but
stupid enough to accidentally erase it prior to attaching the switch. Does anyone out there remember/know the proper wire attachment?
Thanks,
Pat
Hey Chris,I did some research, the diagrams, even enlarged as extremely hard to read. For the eight pin switch, terminals are as follows:
Starting in order (these are standard colors across many models)
30 red/white
15 green/white
1 blue/red (It might be an L)
49a green/yellow
49 green/violet
R black
31 brown (always a ground, in center of switch)
There is also a terminal where the resistor terminates, can't read it's symbol.
The six pin switch has no 31 in center and no resistor terminal.
No, you can burn up some wiring.Hi Chris. Can an eight prong switch be used to replace a 6 prong switch?
