Looks familiar.
The E9 has two different versions which are not compatible.
Best way to decide is based on part number, or else on the number of contacts (I think 8 vs 6).
Also important to state if the part is new or used, and if new, whether it was stored in the OFF or ON position (I am not kidding).
These parts fail by the number of hours they have been in the OFF position.
Not correct for E9 ?Missing the resistor for the 8 pin switch
So the ones that "SEBS" offered here 2 weeks ago are also not correct for E9?The only ones I have ever seen had no logo or whatsoever on them. Just a clear red button with a grey/silver ring around it.

They are probably correct because SFDon bought them...unless he is using them to refurbish bad E9 switches, the rascal...So the ones that "SEBS" offered here 2 weeks ago are also not correct for E9?

Yes! 72 and laterI believe this switch is correct for an E9.
Stamped on top: SAE QC 72 DKS- E.
The red button portion can be screwed out and swapped for a later model with a logo on it or for a nicer looking red button. The only ones I have ever seen had no logo or whatsoever on them. Just a clear red button with a grey/silver ring around it.
