Are these correct for e9?

Looks familiar.
The E9 has two different versions which are not compatible.
Best way to decide is based on part number, or else on the number of contacts (I think 8 vs 6).
Also important to state if the part is new or used, and if new, whether it was stored in the OFF or ON position (I am not kidding).
These parts fail by the number of hours they have been in the OFF position.

E9 never had the warning triangle and early ones say 69 on the front and later ones say 72 and have a visible resistor on the back between the spades.

The only ones I have ever seen had no logo or whatsoever on them. Just a clear red button with a grey/silver ring around it.

So the ones that "SEBS" offered here 2 weeks ago are also not correct for E9?

They are probably correct because SFDon bought them...unless he is using them to refurbish bad E9 switches, the rascal...

My E24 hazard switch is not circular (1987 model).

Yes, I stand corrected. The decal etc are identical to the E24, not the shape of the switch.

I believe this switch is correct for an E9.
Stamped on top: SAE QC 72 DKS- E.

Maybe Fritz took them from the shelf and Gunther took them from the drawer while Karl told both of them to take them from the closet in the back...

The red button portion can be screwed out and swapped for a later model with a logo on it or for a nicer looking red button.
Fun fact on all of the switches the button can be removed.
