Head & Carbs

Pulled the head off my stock 73' 3.0 to have a valve job and new seals put in. Had the head cleaned and found cracks in the chamber at the spark plug. Don't know if that would cause a problem but I replaced it any way. Cam looks great.

I also have a set of used Webers 32/36 DGAV with manifolds.

Let me know what they are worth to you plus package/shipping from Dayton, Ohio. Sorry, US only.

Need to hear by May 23, trash comes on the 24th.

if so, was it NOS ? or a brand new one ?

The guy that tore it down said he could get one out of Germany in 2-3 weeks. I couldn't wait so I ordered a Metric Mechanic ST head on late Monday and got a call from Jim on Sat. telling me he will ship on Tue. Jumped though hoops for me to get to the Vintage.

Head

I have a good head, distrubuter type with fuel pump boss. It has an original BMW part number, and the Roundel on it, but has a later (84) casting date. PM if interested.
