We were discussing a Stahl (long tube?) vs 'Spaghetti' (mystery mfg: Alpina? IE? or? equal length?) header style. I am not sure of the exact term to describe these two different design styles.

My Spaghettis are 1.5" OD
My Stahls/long tube (?) 1 3/8" OD

Gruppe: would like to know if there would be a there be a performance difference between the two?

It would be interesting to find out....I would not be against using either and I would make an educated guess that the performance would be similar....velocity is the name of the game.
Carb'ed motor I would go with the long tube...EFI short tube....the 320i intake runners match this set up quite nicely.
