Hi There,

I'm looking for help in Auckland, New Zealand. I have a restoration in the final stages, the bodywork and paint is complete and the big stuff is in the car - engine, running gear, suspension, brakes, steering, fuel tank.

However, it turns out the guy doing the reassembly has been lying for the past year and has now sold the garage. I retrieved the car and am confident I have all the parts but expect some stuff is missing. Whatever, I'm just glad I have the expensive stuff - I had the speciality parts like interior/exterior trim etc but am unsure regarding the mechanical. I know very little about cars.

Is there anyone in New Zealand that's completed a restoration like this, or has experience with this type of situation?

I'm trying to re-group, so would welcome a chat with someone experienced to understand the various ways forward from here and decent local people. I'm guessing an inventory of the parts I have would be a good place to start.

Any help, suggestions or recommendations welcome.

Cheers, Ben

Some pics of the engine bay would be good right now.

Thank you guys, I'm travelling for work now so am glad I got the car out when I did. @Wes Would love a chat so will hit you up once I'm back and have photographed the engine bay if that's OK? Thanks again, much appreciated. Cheers, Ben
