HELP NEEDED!!! Door seals????

Thanks for that. Having restored cars for the past 20 years, it's unlikely BMW "makes" them but I'm sure they order them from a company which has the mould and manufactures the rubbers or seals for BMW.
The prices have dropped dramatically over the years so I thought I'd ask to see if anyone had recently purchased some could give a heads up (though the Tomkinson price stated on the previous post is very good).

Not what I meant but fair enough, no one else sells them but for BMW.

Are these the correct part numbers for the seal at the rear of the door? I worked with my local BMW guy (he usually is pretty good) and this is what I got.

So what is the P/N for the rear seal and what is it that I've got? Obviously not the right one! And what's with the shift to grey?
 
The grey one looks like the hood seal along the firewall. The part number 51481810724 is for the sound insulation on the firewall. I think grey is from the stuff used in the molding process.

Your first photo shows the BMW part number for the firewall pad. The seal at the trailing edge of the door is 51216740180 and 81, L and R if that's what you are looking for.

Under the door is, 51216740185, photo 2 is the seal in front of windshield 51715780175. Photo 3 does not belong anywhere.

Yes, my mistake with the sound insulation photo.

The second photo is of the part I got from BMW with the number you quoted, 51216740180, which also corresponds to the number at RealOEM. However, the picture at RealOEM shows a black piece while this one is grey. And the grey doesn't rub off, it's the color of the material. Also, the third picture is of what is in the car now, a hollow piece at the rear of the door frame. Do you think somebody put in something from Pep Boys instead of an OEM piece? What does everybody elses look like? Holllow or not?
 
Just bumping this old post. Apart from W&N does anyone know of another supplier for the door seals ?
