help to choose my new carpet

is what I have with blue cards and silver blue leather. Perhaps it's the fact that the photos shows the sample in a better/ brighter light than in practice on the floor where it will be a bit darker unless in direct sun. As far as wear, it has done well, which a lighter color may not as much.

Just my humble 2 cents.

Hi Jerry, I agree,
when you check it in this pic against the floor in a darker light it seems to be one of the good choices

BTW, did you assembled the carpet by yourself ? any tips ?

hi
a friend has been so kind to produce this virtual model of the samples 472, and 426

you can clearly tell that despite both colours had been treated in very bright and direct light, there is a big difference in using the 2 tone long loop as per 426, or the 2 tone velours 472

Now I am confused and shaken. Thought I was in the 426 corner. The 472 is looking very Classy.

reaffirms my thoughts ... but i think in reality, both will be slightly darker as the samples were taken with a lot of light on them

Difficult to have an opinion from pictures. I am not really crazy about either option, I like the texture/pattern of 426 over the velour but the color (at least in pics) is not working for me really for either one either.

Steve,

472 is a loop, not a velour. the colors of the barber-polled yarns aren't as much of a contrast as they are in 426

I see...well that reaffirms that DeQ should not listen to my opinion! If 472 is darker like you say then that would get my vote as well.

after looking at the pics way too long I also find it hard to choose. so I can't really recommend any of them.

also for me I prefer a lighter carpet to add light and life to the coupe but I guess that makes it hard to stay original

Since almost everyone agrees that any new produced carpet doesn't match our blue/grey loop, why not take a look at the CSL carpet as a "nearby" replacement?
