help, will this gearbox be ok for my CS ?

hi,
there is a chance of obtaining a getrag manual 4speed gearbox, and store it as a future spare

the reference number of my original gearbox says something as 262/9.45

the spare one is marked 225/2.1 ref. 262.0.200.00R

what does the first number mean ? is it a gear ratio ?

dó you think the spare gear box, despite having different numbers marked, will be ok for my all original 1971 dated 3.0CS ?

the owner says that this gearbox came from an E24 dqted 1977

but, from the gear ratio infor any deduction about what feelings I will get from the new one ?
i mean, would it be shorter or longer relations ? will it be more "sport", or long runner in the highway ?
