Snowball is a blast, great roads and fun folks.
Last couple years its has conflicted with a major work event I organize that same weekend...ARGH!!!
NorCal Coupers: I am up for a cruise as long it is not in April! I am toast that month.
How about a 'Coupe Jam' with a drive ending with some music & food...I hear there a few 'players' around NorCal sporting coupes ;-) A Couper invasion of an open mic/jam somewhere...?
There is a fun open mic/restaurant (most bulk instruments provided: keys/amps/drums) every Sunday in Redding I've Couped to.... ;-)
I know, after the check I send to the IRS in April I cannot fill the tank .
I am open though my my open mic would sound worse than the Blaupunkt....
Let's figure out the numbers before we pick a place, I was around Fort Baker last weekend and that could be a cool place to end it, but if we have 50 cars we may need a permit or something...
I see that the Snowball comes to North Lake Tahoe,do they stay the night there? In the home page they show driving though a stream but I don't have the room to carrier my own bridge so not interested whole in the trip.
I think this year they might be changing things up (reverse direction?) but traditionally they stay at the Cal/Neva on the north shore. Creek crossing (rainy season dependent) is minor but fun foto op, dirt roads can be bypassed in rte book in consideration of those who cant handle a little dirt.
My North Valley Vintage Touring Club on FB has had a Snowball rendezvous run in the past starting Chico, the 'Flurry 200'. Mountain town of Quincy gets flooded with old sports cars for lunch. They might do it again.
